Arkansas/Ole Miss under 54: Nope

Okie State 49-29. 9-0 and headed to Ames before Baylor and Bedlam.

 

That was a crazy ending to the Ole Miss - Arkansas game.

 

Bielema finally showing some damn balls instead of playing it safe.

 

That was house money. He had nothing to lose.

 

Ex, I haven't seen him much since his Big 10 days, but man, Bielema's got a huge gut. He must have a punch card at Golden Corral.

That's why he wears the windshirts.

 

For years at Wisconsin, he always played for overtime (or the next overtime) to absolve him of answering the tough question if it didn't work out. Especially in spots like this -- the underdog road team.

 

So what chapter of the narrative explains big, bad Florida's narrow victory over Vandy?

A. Too tired from the rugged conference schedule

B. Just didn't care about the game; looking ahead to some other big, bad foe

C. All the conference games are really, really, REALLY F-ING HARD, DAMMIT!

D. Victory margin doesn't really matter (except when it does in games played in other conferences)

 

Duh, great teams get everyone's best shot.

 

Which is obviously why Houston played so well against the great Vandy defense.
