    And now the Jayhawks lead 35-17 at halftime. They're on their way to .500!!!

    EDIT -- Just saw Duke fell 5 yards short of an upset against the Hurricanes. I know Miami was short-handed for that game because of the suspensions, but damn.

    6-3 Bama, in their first through fifth-best defensive effort of the season. And they won't win because Shula can't call anything besides Mike Allstott Ken Darby up the middle.

    Tide D is looking good, but I think Ainge will get it going in the second half. It was a classic Alabama first half.

    On a similar tack, how's the gunt going to explain this one if UCLA holds on? Quinn stopped on fourth-and-1 with 2:20 to go.
