Very disappointing loss tonight against Rider. Tomorrow can only be better here in MSU campus.
No inside play and a gung-ho opponent spelt trouble for the home team.
    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'm covering one of these games Tuesday. Thankfully not the 6 a.m. game.

And this Rotnei Clark cat from Arkansas went 13-17 from 3 tonight and scores 51 against Alcorn.

Xavier Henry scored 27 points in his KU debut. If he can play like that all season, he will give the Jayhawks what they sorely lacked last season -- a third scorer to Aldrich and Collins, who sometimes would press too much and commit turnovers. Collins should never feel the need to press too much this season.

Good for him. I'm a big fan of Boeheim.

It's interesting to note that he had that statline in a game that Arkansas only suited up 8 players. Five players were suspended multiple games to start the season. Pelphrey seems like a nice guy, but in way over his head...

    That's what Laettner said.

since Mississippi State and Stansbury always do so well when expectations are placed on them

Looks like they need a lot more help than Renardo Sidney

Rider produced Jason Thompson, the No. 12 pick in the draft 2 years ago. Thompson's little brother, Ryan, is very good. The Broncs also have 4 starters back from last year's team.

It's what happens when you think you can just piss on a team.

Keep an eye on the Morris twins. They are going to be the most improved players on the team.

Indiana looked like a Big Ten team last night -- albeit a bottom-half team, but shit, they're all freshmen and sophomores.

That team's gonna be a bitch to beat in 2 seasons.
