So my dad, who saves everything, allowed me to find this over the weekend:

And I popped two 9-volts in it, and damned if it doesn't work. I think I got it for Christmas in 1982.

It's my dad's, but I always played it with him growing up -- and to this day, he still has the brown leather briefcase filled with years and years of cards for Strat-o-Matic baseball.

I always look forward to a good game of Strat when I go home ...

I stumbled upon my old Mattel basketball game last summer when I was home.

    Still worked, but it was only fun for about five minutes. Up-back-up-shoot... three-pointer! Up-back-up-shoot... three-pointer! Up-back-up-shoot... three-pointer! Up-back-up-shoot... three-pointer!

Wish I still had my Nintendo with Super Tecmo Bowl. (I know, I know... it's online somewhere, but it's just not the same...)

Still can't lay off the curveball. A ball every time, except you don't know it's a ball until the red circle lights up outside the opposite batter's box. Crazy curve, looking like a fastball every time.

QB, I had that one, but don't remember. What was the ST and SC?
