  1. Here's their list
    15. Sam McDowell
    14. Walter Johnson
    13. Bob Feller
    12. Sal Maglie
    11. Pedro
    10. JR Richard
    9. Goose Gossage
    8. Sandy Koufax
    7. Juan Marichal
    6. Randy Johnson
    5. Nolan Ryan
    4. Roger Clemens
    3. Early Wynn
    2. Don Drysdale
    1. Bob Gibson

I thought they compiled a pretty good list.
To me one, one glaring omission: Mariano Rivera.
I would not have voted for Sal Maglie either. But's more becuase of Jim Bouton's book than Maglie's stats.

I would move Randy up that list, the guy fired 100 MPH heaters for a good portion of his career. At 6'10, he basically strides and he's two feet off the mound.

I'd like to see Rivera on that list, too.

    Is Rivera really intimidating?

He's great. No question. Arguably the best closer ever. But I never really thought of him as intimidating.

Are we judging based off intimidating stuff or intimidating physical presence. If we are going with presence, throw Johnson to the top of the list for being as tall as he is. If the list is judged by level of filth, maybe Roger could be moved up.

As long as Gibson is number one that's all that matters.

Do you think Gooden might deserve a little praise here?

And how about a least intimidating list?

Agreed. I would think this is a combination of presence and stuff. Nobody quite on Gibson's level.

Man, I'd be scared as hell if I had to go against Pedro. The guy just did not care. He'd hit you in the head whenever he felt like it.
As a batter, how do you focus after getting this sign from Pedro?
