I saw a drawing of it this morning when I was getting info for our movie page. Essentially, it looks like a gigantic pubic louse. With scores of other, smaller pubic lice attached to it.

Sham... One film... surrounded by celluloid excrement.

 

Guys... just rent The Host and watch the same monster in a better film.

It freaks me out when you two agree as much as you have been.

 

I'm sensing a real Blair Witch Project vibe here.

It will be on HBO by August... I can wait until then.

 

I would absolutely go see a Domokun monster movie.

 

I know Blair Witch outlived its hype, but I thought it was pretty cool. The ending was awesome.

 

People have fun shitting on Blair Witch, but it's an incredible success story. These nobodies took a few thousand dollars and made something nobody had ever seen before. Yeah, the acting sucks and the camera work is distracting, but they had an actual unique idea and busted the studio system and grossed a quarter of a billion dollars.

I was lucky enough to see it at the very beginning, in the limited release, knowing almost nothing about it except that it had huge buzz. Of course if you know everything about it and it's been overhyped it's going to be disappointment. But keep it in its context and you have to respect the hell out of what they pulled off.
