    Transit bus drivers have one of the higher time-lost injury rates out of all American professions. The average person has no idea what these people go through every day while being responsible for the lives of the same passengers and motorists who often go out of their way to make things difficult.

    Incidents like this are, as previously mentioned, why some cities put a plexiglass cage around the driver, and many cities instruct drivers not to do much of anything to extract payment from scofflaw riders.
