Of the movies on the 1998 version of the AFI 100:

    12 Sunset Boulevard
    16 All About Eve
30 The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
37 The Best Years of Our Lives
44 The Birth of a Nation (deleted from the 2007 AFI update)
54 All Quiet on the Western Front (ditto)
    57 The Third Man (ditto)
    73 Wuthering Heights (ditto)
    82 Giant (ditto)

The only one of these that kinda bugs me is The Third Man. Easily enough fixed.

    Neither have I. Nor have I heard of Nos.. 16, 30, 54, 57, 70 or 82. I've heard of My Giant, though. But I haven't seen it.

    Nobody's close.
Although I've never seen Caddyshack all the way through.

Then for that, dear Fenian, I weep.

I've never seen Caddyshack, either. Or Caddyshack 2.

I think ET is the biggie for me... but there are a ton people are surprised I haven't seen.

The only ones I have seen on that AFI 100 list from 2007 are Godfather, Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey, It's a Wonderful Life, ET, To Kill a Mockingbird, Godfather II, Lord of the Rings, Jaws, Rocky, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction and Blade Runner. So I guess that leaves at least 83 classic movies I haven't seen.

  11. Second that one.

    And the Rocky movies.

I have It's A Wonderful Life DVR'd but it will probably get deleted before I watch it just like last year (who wants to watch a Christmasy movie in January). I will watch it eventually ... maybe next year.
