That thing is so boring. We have about 50 others to choose from. :D

A version of this one (different plate number, obviously) is on the back of my car:

The money raised goes to the Mote Marine Lab in Sarasota.

(And the one that site lists for the DMV is actually reserved for disabled veterans.)

I apologize for not going through the whole thread ... believe me, I'd like to because I like license plates but I'm on dial-up and it's taking too long. But:

What do you all think of the Kentucky "smiling sun" plates? There was a minor uproar a while back with Commonwealthers basically saying they're gay and want to get rid of them. I like them. They make my wife and I feel nice every time we see on on the highway.

New Mexico plates are the only ones that say USA on them, which is just a sad commentary on how stupid people are.

That is truly clever. Immature perhaps, but definitely clever and inspired.

Dying, thank God. One of the only things Ernie Fletcher did right was to get rid of those horrible things. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

    So you're the ASSMAN?

  9. The state started phasing out the classic blue Michigan plate in January, which is a terrible move.

There are some from the Yukon that are pretty cool.

Or, here's all the plates since 1983...

My favorites are the Twin Spires tags and the current ones, except for the "unbridled spirit" slogan. I guess it's better than "It's just that friendly."
