    I always thought his music was pretty good. It's everything else about him that I can't stand.

  3. To this day, Earth Wind & Fire's "Gratitude" is the soundtrack to our Summer Slam Sunday cookout for the youth we work with.
    If you didn't have that album in the 70s, you weren't serious about music. :)

    I think people name "Sgt. Pepper" as the greatest album because they've been told it is so many times, they don't even think about it. (Sort of like the people who list Clapton as a great guitarist.). I'd put it no higher than fifth among the Beatles' albums alone.

    I'll probably go "Sticky Fingers" for all-time greatest.

    "Journey to the Center of the Mind" kicked ass. In no small part because Ted doesn't sing.

    Being the 4th or 5th best Beatles album is like hitting sixth for the '27 Yankees.
