    Which is exactly why I don't think he was retaliating.

    It was an inside pitch that got away. If it was more than that, do you really think an Ivy Leaguer like Young is going to be dumb enough to mouth off, as well? I don't, and I don't think most pitchers would mouth off, either.

    honestly? I think most pitchers are afraid to mouth off because they know they are exposed out there and gonna get their asses kicked until help arrives.

    (And I seriously doubt 6-foot-10 Chris Young (charged by Lee) or 6-foot-6 John Lackey (charged by Jason Kendall last year) or 6-foot-5 Scott Feldman (charged by Adam Kennedy last year) is "afraid of getting his ass kicked." Honestly. Most pitchers today are 6-1 to 6-5. They're not afraid of getting their ass kicked. No way.)

    True, I should have put that a different way.
    To me, pitchers are like punters and placekickers.
    A little more fragile than the average bear. :)
