    I wish someone would use Main Street in downtown Brattleboro.

    Almost none of Grosse Pointe was used in "GP Blank." Just the Jefferson Street drive and maybe something else, if I recall correctly.

    I'd add "Double Jeopardy" for the New Orleans cemetery and Bourbon Street scenes.

    Never saw "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil;" was that really filmed in Savannah?

    Can't believe no one said Las Vegas yet.

    That town has had the shit used out of it for movies;

    Off the top of my head;

    Fear and Loathing
    Oceans 11, 13
    Leaving Las Vegas

    I'm sure there are many others.

    Con Air, The Hangover just to name more.

  9. I thought Deliverance really, really captured a slice of rural Georgian life.

    I have yet to meet a native Minnesotan who finds Fargo a credible representation of Minnesota.

    It's not.

    As for that matter, Chisholm, Minn., does not look ANYTHING like it's represented in Field of Dreams.

    At least part of it was filmed there, if not a good majority. Savannah also home to the General's Daughter with John Travolta. And the bench scenes in Forrest Gump.

    16 Blocks with Bruce Willis and Mos Def takes place mostly on a New York City bus and in Chinatown.
    The (First?) Mission Impsossible with Tom Cruise takes place in Prague.
    Most of the James Bond films takes place in, or has some shooting in the Caribbean (which can't be that bad)
