I readily concede that my stories were not 500 inches long, on average.

The rat line is not "hazing."

But if a fact came along that proved your story wrong, you just ignored it and went to print? That's what you typed before.

You know when you typed it.

I would say there is malice involved by these filmmakers. They have said online they omitted things to tell a better story. - what I posted
We all do that. It's a core part of the job.

But they didn't say they omitted things to obscure the truth. They made judgments that the facts they omitted weren't material.

    This ...:

But they didn't say they omitted things to obscure the truth. They made judgments that the facts they omitted weren't material.

.. is the same as this?:

But if a fact came along that proved your story wrong, you just ignored it and went to print? That's what you typed before.

Wait, YF is stuffing words into my mouth.

I am OK if military institutions do it. What they are training their students for is different than what the engineering school at Va Tech is training students to do.

I am also OK with any type of military officer training at any university to do this as well.

They are training these men and women to be dropped in the middle of Iraq and fight. If they are not mentally ready, there is a higher chance of them being killed.
