    Canadian troops in Kanadahar received 6000 kilograms of presents and letters from home yesterday. Includes letters from school children.

    One soldier's quote was: "Mail time is the best time of the day"

    I was at a Christmas party with a couple of guys from the Canadian embassy the other night. They were nice enough fellows but it took all I had not to start cracking jokes. That Ron "Lou" Bacardi is a bad influence.

    I don't know if Mr. Bacardi was there in person, more like his product. Doubt if Ron is around any more.
