    If he was a prep writer having to chase after coaches and players before they hightail it out on the bus, rather than a coddled college writer, he'd have done better. ;)

    Chip Cosby is a great guy, and someone who would have had fun with this. My mom told me about it when I was home last week. Good for Chip.

    Side note: Alan Cutler is a tool.

    When I did the first-person tryout story for the local arena football team (as a kicker) I clocked in at 5.4

    I didn't attempt the rep count for a 225-pound bench press.

    Fastest 40 time I ever ran was a 4.8 and that was 50 pounds ago. You'd need a calendar to time me now (and some paddles at the finish line).

    I once ran a stoplight... other than that, I haven't run anything other than my mouth in years.
