To my cynical mind, Mike is making a joke, remarkable in its subtlety.

    Kudos.

Absolutely. This year available as a Hallmark audio ornament. Very strong.

It's nice to be noticed, Mr. Hecht. Thank you, sir.

    Mr gd,

"In spite of my outward appearance, I shall try to run a neat inn."

"I have affixed to me the dust and dirt of countless ages...who am I to disturb history?"

To braying girls teasing him about filth: "At least I'm well-read."

He gets all the best lines.

Wow. I remember that commercial pretty vividly. The Pen has a great do, too.

I can see why you hold a candle for him.

Must Buy. Will not walk, but run to a Hallmark store.

Seriously? I think you just helped me with some Christmas shopping. Thanks.

The Linus part is cool, I prefer the part at the end where the gang fixes up Charlie Brown's tree and starts to hum Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

Crap, I'll have to go to the mall now. The online Hallmark store is out of those Linus ornaments.

Sorry, see you've already answered this question, Bubbler (I know DISH and satellites can have some strange restrictions) but you should look into getting a decent TV antenna.
Things like Charlie Brown Christmas are too good to miss out on.

Bumping back up to let people know Charlie Brown Christmas is on again on Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Absolutely my favorite thing about the Christmas season starting. I love that it's on early, it really gets me in the spirit.

I still feel like a little kid when it's on, and I can't wait to watch it with my kid when he's old enough to know what it is.

    Plus, kickin' soundtrack.
