man, lucky ass people. my boy went to see one of his shows in SF not that long ago. there was an 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. show, wisely he picked 10 p.m, figuring the 8 p.m. show would be rushed.

the 8 p.m. show ran long and wasn't over until like 11:30. So the 10 p.m. show start at midnight. and it didn't end until 5 a.m.

In other words, well worth the money. Suddenly, I'm going to look up whether he's coming by here anytime soon.

Chapelle is easily worth the money.

He came to Ypsilanti (now referred to as Ypsi-lipsi by anyone in attendance) last year and stayed on for well over three hours.

He just ad-libbed. After his set, he let the audience yell topics at him and just rolled with them.

How can you be funny on stage for six hours straight, though?

Wonder, just for fun mind you, how many times he made racist remarks, talked about women in a derogatory way or dropped the N word....

He dosn't use the n word in his stand ups anymore.

Apprently he said it 44 times.

    From the Variety story:
Chappelle also took on Michael Richards' headline-making Laugh Factory set from last year, as well as Masada's decision to impose a fine on any comic who uses the "N"-word onstage.

"I was his punching bag for a half hour," Masada said. Chappelle was assessed a $2200 penalty for using the offending word.

Yeah, but he was talking about the Michael Richards thing.
He's said in interviews that he's going to try to not say it in his stand ups.

P.S. He's also admitted that some of his stand ups were socially irresponsible.
