Change on Virginia Tech beat?

Seth Greenberg mentioned some kind of change on the Hokies beat on his Twitter page at

    http:/twitter.com/HeadHokie

"Change of coverage for hokies beat writers on the horizon? Big loss for VT sports!"

    Then, more cryptically:

"The beat writer in question is not the one that entertains ACC writers on the weekly conference call."

Somebody leaving? Just a reshuffling of beats somewhere?

For now, it's Seth speaking out of his ass.

Well, crap. Jeff is a good dude. Bad decision to get behind the wheel, but still a good dude.

That was not was the tweet was alluding to, but unfortunate nonetheless.

Clue us in then, please. Change in Richmond? Lynchburg? Norfolk?

As for the above posts, Randy King is a very good dude, too. Known him forever. But when you drink, have someone else drive or call a taxi or something. Anything. Don't get behind the wheel. Ever.

Since this is turning into the "Sports Writers Making News" thread, here's another:
