Finally. I get to start one of these....

Since college, I've been to a shitload of football games through work, but only one from the stands -- an Alabama-Duke game in Mike Shula's last year, so it was a team of equals.
That becomes two Saturday when I take Ms. Slappy, my sister-in-law and niece to the Minnesota-Michigan game at the Metrodome.
Does that count as two or is that like Alabama-Duke?

Go UB. In keeping with the Election Day theme, the Bulls will wear all blue tonight, while visiting Miami (Oh.) will wear their home reds.

They each have theirr redeeming qualities. From the stands is more fun, though.

    Minnesota-Michigan? That's as bad as EMU-WMU.

Is it Pittsburgh's week to suck and Louisville's week to shine? These teams confuse me.

My son was born the day before Michigan rallied to beat Minny-ha-ha in 2003.

The nurse actually brought him back into our room when Michigan was down 28-7 and I put his Michigan beanie on his head and he and I "watched" Michigan come from behind to win the game.

For four years, I thought he was Michigan's good-luck charm.
