CDC: Sexually-active women shouldn't drink alcohol if not on birth control

    That's a fair point, and I probably should have thought more about where the advice came from. The CDC pretty much always recommends the highest level of caution. Snark reconsidered.

    Having said that, there are a whole bunch of things besides booze that are equally dangerous for women who might be pregnant. Coffee, soft cheese, sushi, deli meat, etc.

    Without the numbers in front of me, and considering the actual danger represented by moderate drinking during pregnancy, yeah, I feel comfortable saying that.
