CDC Recommends Routine HIV Testing

Should be as common as a cholesterol test, says the Center for Disease Control.

I don't see why you wouldn't. Better safe than sorry.

I get tested every year. I'm not considered to be high risk, but I am paranoid and I do have HIV-positive friends who encourage me to get tested regularly.

 

Unless my wife is withholding information, I'm pretty safe.

Still, I think it's a good idea. Uma tells me well over half of her patients have a STI of some sort.
