Remember her singing You're So Vain on an empty soundstage with Chevy Chase playing tambourine (or something like that) before SNL as her performance for the show.

 

Seems she could have gotten a lot worse from a bunch of guys with horns.

 

Carly Simon was with a band, and with Chevy Chase doing the Davy Jones thing, on SNL. It was on the 25th anniversary music boxed set.

 

I'm suddenly liking the cover of the No Secrets album a lot more.

 

wow. she must be really weird.

 

I attended what became her last public performance for a very long period, in 1980. She essentially freaked on the stage, inviting a dozen or so sitting in the front rows to sit around her on stage to ease her fright, then signing about 6-7 songs before packing it in. She sounded great, so why she was loopy about performing, who knows?
Either way, no refunds, which sucked.
