Several hours, and no one has posted a joke about whistle-blower Berry's stance on "private business?"

    We're slipping, people.

That's because it's private and it's none of your business, young man.

Seriously, though, she's got an uphill battle ahead to ever get back into the coaching side.

    The whole trust thing.

    Very tough Catch-22 situation.

I guess until we know the entire story about the coach/player relationship, I guess we cannot speculate.

If the player was asking this assistant coach to help her, but the coach became singled out because of it. Well, that is sad.

If the coach just decided on her own to blow the whistle, then I do not feel sorry for her.

This is a very interesting situation in athletics. It's just a shame that is being pushed out of the papers for the non-story of the Rutgers girls and the now household name Imus.

Why not? If a college coach is involved with a player, she/he has no business being a coach at that level. It's unethical and predatory.

My understanding about the situation is that they were running, um, the triangle offense, shall we say.

Which thickens the plot yet again.

I've heard that too, but if Pokey was carrying on with a CURRENT player, she needed to be ratted out.

If it was somebody who'd already left the program, it becomes a whole 'nother ball game.

    Nice...
Not as nice as the three-umm-player- weave, but still nice

The story is the player was in the program at the time, but not now.

Too many stories say "former player," and it creates some confusion.

    We need a chart.

And if she waited for months after the player left the program, well, I smell a rat, so to speak.

Box and one is a better defense.
