    Far be it from me to criticize St. Louis fans for the simple reason that I fear protesters in virtually any city in America would have been greeted with the same reaction if a Ferguson had happened in their orb. I don't know St. Louis at all, having been there only once, but take the narrative to KC or Baltimore and I suspect you'd find apologists for the cop in certain corners of those places as well.

    What did Paul Quantrill ever do to anyone other than being a soft-spoken Canadian transplant who spent his HS years in my hometown? He wasn't really good enough to start or close in the majors, but he was a pretty solid setup guy for a few years there. It's not like he engaged in ambush tactics during the Civil War or anything...
