    I'll cast a vote for the American soldier, who's winning the war despite a lack of support in many quarters at home. This would be a good way for Time to do its part by way of apology.

    I would expect someone of your intelligence to be able to differentiate between a lack of support for the soldiers and the people who sent them there.

    The American soldier is barely doing better than tying, through no fault of his own but because he has been thrown into a situation we had no business creating, that came about because of political expediency and craven lies.

    Just to clarify your post.
