After reading the transcript, Verizon deserves what it gets...

Is the education system really failing us as that would indicate?

That's some of the funniest stuff I've ever read. Though I could see how over the phone that could get highly confusing.

  5. The people he was talking to are idiots, but it seems like he could have explained it a little better too.
Maybe say, ".002 cents means if I used it for 1000 minutes, I'd owe two cents. .002 dollars means if I used it for 1000 minutes, I'd owe two dollars. That's a big difference."

Agreed. But trying to teach math over the phone can't be easy.

    Now that, I understood.

  8. I thought his metaphor about paying 20000 dollars for a car versus 20000 pennies was right on and should have cleared things up by then. Or, I dunno, maybe we shouldn't assume floor managers at Verizon have a high school education?

I like his memo line. I think I should start signing all my checks like that. WHAT NOW, BITCHES.

I thought his best bet was when he was using one cent times 100 kb = one dollar. Compare that to how much less .002 is than .01.

    How dumb are these people?

Opie and Anthony played his call maybe a month back.
He was purposely confusing and was also condescending.
And if I am Verizon and get a check like that, I send it back, postage due.

I don't think he was confusing or condescending. I thought he was incredibly patient.
