Auburn should try to make a trade for Denard Robinson as Newton replacement.

Auburn is pretty much stuck, because Newton's dad had an incentive-laden contract with BCS and National Title implications...the Tigers are on the hook for another $500K, so finding the money to bring in Robinson could be tricky :)

The SEC needs a salary cap more than the NFL

Maybe Auburn can use the Marcus Dupree Exception to fit Robinson under the cap.

'Melo wants a sign and trade to Auburn.

BTW, I was wondering if some enterprising reporter can tell us after 3 years and 3 different colleges, how many credits, from all schools, has Cam Newton earned towards a degree from Auburn?

I'd say he graduates April 28. Not his fault that the only way to play football is to go through the three-year apprenticeship that provides the NCAA with free product and allows the NFL to avoid tens of millions of dollars in player development costs.

Do people here think Auburn has the dirtiest program among all the BCS schools?

What do you mean by dirtiest?

Nick Farley going pro. That should open up more cap space.

Opens up a spot on the college football All-Prick Team, too.

    Dirty-ass cheap shot artist.

How 'bout a ratio of the number of class sessions attended over the total possible? Generally, classes meet 2 or 3 times a week for approx. 16 weeks, so at 2.5 sessions per week, 16 sessions per semester, 6 semesters (one of those being a summer), that'd be 240 class session for his career. I'll start the over/under at 72, or about a dozen per semester, that Cam actually attended.

When making these calculations about going pro vs. staying in college, they need to remember that the college cash is tax-free.
