Cal Thomas Decides Torture Is Moral After Watching "24"

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Flying Headbutt, Nov 7, 2007.

  1. Seriously, there might not be a lazier columnist "working."

Which is an amazing distinction if you think about it.

If Jack Bauer ran for President, I'd vote for him.

Another member of the right that would surrender a piece of what makes America great out of fear.

He is afraid that will be seen as weak to Al-Qeada so we should become more like them.

Who cares if they see as weak? We are only as weak as we make ourselves.

I can't imagine the depth of his fear if torture is justified by such a shallow thing as how we may appear to a enemy that has no real power over us.

These right wingers have no love for America all they have is fear for it.

Bottle it up and stick it in a safe and if anyone gets near it blow their heads off with a shotgun.

    Yes he does.

And his campaign slogan would be "WHO ARE YOU VOTING FOR?!?!?!?!"

He does now. Apparently Fox yanked the show off the schedule due to the writers' strike.

Yes...a reasoned and well-thought-out response. Attack Fenian as opposed to the actual issue itself, which in case you forgot, is torture.

From a moral perspective, please define why it's OK for supposed truists -- the God, country and family at all cost believers -- to bend the rules to meet their own needs?

And don't take the coward's approach by saying liberals do it too. Liberals obviously aren't abiding by the same moral standard as conservatives or they'd just be failed conservatives. Right?
