Buzzfeed SE fired

    Ben Mathis-Lilley, the sports editor at Buzzfeed, is out.

    Or, as he put it on Twitter, "Just to be entirely clear, I got fired. SUPER fired, maybe. This is not a joke. For those asking WHY I got fired, it's honestly nothing interesting or crazy. Just the usual not seeing eye-to-eye."

    I wonder if he wanted to do too much actual journalism instead of charticles, strange polls and galleries of hot chicks.

    I just can't think of anything I've ever seen on there that looked like it needed editor oversight.
