Bulletin: U.S. totally screwed the pooch on Iraqi reconstruction

The New York Times has a report documenting the catastrophic efforts in Iraq.
As bad as most expected and worse. Nobody in authority really seemed to care, even though they knew it was going badly.

I don't even know if I want to hear what's in that report. Rajiv Chandrasekaran's "Imperial Life in the Emerald City" delves into the early days of the Iraq reconstruction effort and really brought to light what a colossal disaster it was. I don't know if I've ever been angrier after reading a book.
