One of the geniuses claim there's no structured worship in Buddhism.
    This seems to counter that.

Funny how you didn't bother to link the locked thread so people would actually understand what you are talking about. Perhaps you were hoping to take potshots without everyone seeing just what a fool you made of yourself.

Then again, i doubt this one will last out the hour.

Many Buddhists worship the Buddha, although I think a more accurate way to say it is that they venerate him. There are also Christians who worship and those who don't.

The difference is that worship is part of the structure of Christianity. In theory, you must do it in order to reap the rewards. Buddhism requires no worship to achieve nirvana. It's only through following the Noble Eightfold Path, or the Middle Way, that one can achieve the ultimate enlightenment.

There is a significant difference between the way Buddhism is understood in the West and the way it is actually practiced in much of Asia.
Westerners choose to view as a mental endeavor rather than a traditional endeavor.
In other parts parts of the world it is more often practiced within the traditional concepts of religion and superstition.

I've never worshipped Buddha in a locked thread. How does that work?
