Bud Furillo Dead

    He was before my time, but some of the old time west coast SportsJournalists.com ers must know about him.

    Former sports editor of the Los Angeles Herald Examiner and early sports talk radio host on KABC.

    Bud had a bit part (Reporter No. 2) in "Brian's Song."

    I would come across him during the waning days of the Herald-Examiner.

    With all due respect, I wasn't a big fan, just thought his stuff came off as kind of dull.

    BUT, he obviously make a big mark on the SoCal sports scene. RIP
