    We have to use Internet Explorer at work. Of course it doesn't work with some of our applications.

    Because if you log on to gmail or any other Google service, your computer accesses some of your Google information across your devices, not just what is in on that computer or the single Google app you are using. This process may have changed from the default, but I notice searches, history, and bookmarks are shared across all my devices. I think you can block the sharing of Google info.

    Why isn't that a good thing? I like having consistency across my web experiences. It's not like I'm accessing porn or have something to hide.

    Anybody having problems with Safari today? It looks like my computer automatically updated to version 9.1 sometime today, and now a bunch of web sites just aren't loading. Some important ones, too, like Facebook and ESPN.com
