Bristol editor gives one-fingered salute to Washington Post

    I can tell you I got to string a couple of Va. state championship events for the Washington Post last June. No matter the assignment, it was still a big thrill to see my byline on a WaPo story. Most rational people who get into this business would look at the Post as a destination job. And if they ask me again this June to cover a state tournament event, I'll say yes again.

    Sincere congratulations on winning a Pulitzer. But as a completely impartial bystander who has never heard of this guy and this paper, that column comes across as self-indulgent high school bullshit.

    Which may explain why the Post said "see ya" after a 10 hour interview schedule.
