Announces he's gay. I think the news here is that this wasn't already publicly known.

But this fits in nicely with Obama's RSVP of "Sorry, Vladi, I can't make it but here are some gay people" for Sochi.

If Obama really wanted to send a message to Putin, he would have sent Russell Ziskey to Sochi.

I always wondered What Would Brian Boitano Do when faced with a raging homophobe.

I assume you concluded he'd make a plan and follow through?

Obama should have Chris Christie and Ted Cruz represent the United States at the Olympics. Hillary would love all the pictures of them making nice with Putin for the run in 2016

"This year's group is led by former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano." Hah
    I thought so.

He should also send Bruce Jenner. He looks gay with all that plastic surgery.

Over the years, I've heard Carl Lewis could represent the U.S. in Sochi, but that is not confirmed.

I thought he was out. I did a story on his cooking show a few years ago and his manager/bff told me he didn't want to talk about being gay. Neither did I, but he mentioned a boyfriend in passing.

Spent some time around Boitano in 1992 at Albertville. A great guy.

Based on my observations at that time, he could have been getting all the tail he wanted, of whatever flavor.

I'm sure he'd kick an ass or two.
