I don't Merriman should win Defensive MVP, but not because of the steroids argument. Taylor probably deserves it.

Jason Taylor needs to just eat his popcorn and watch the playoffs.

Taylor way out on a limb? You are joking right. He spoke the truth and that is something cheaters never want to hear. If more people spoke out this way, steroids wouldn't be as big of a problem. Instead, we have this hush hush unwritten rule about not turning in cheater or pointing out how they cheated. Its about time we stop pussy footing around with all this b.s and start speaking the truth.

My point is that Taylor better not be covering for guys on the Dolphins, or doing anything untoward in his own life, steroid-related or not, beause Justin Gatlin can tell him how well that can work out.

Yeah, he's all alone on that island in the NFL.

Right message, wrong messenger. Jason Taylor should shut up and just play.

And Shawn Merriman may be Mother Teresa incarnate... or he may be like any number of showboating NFL players who make their living in a game of sanctioned violence. He's a great football player. But let's not canonize him, because he started a foundation. Isn't this the guy who has a tattoo that says "Lights Out," because he apparently takes pride in the fact that he knocked four opponents unconscious in a high school game?

Never mind way over-the-top public support of a criminal teammate early in the season.

A more cynical person might look at the same evidence, add in factors like Merriman's 20-30 pound weight gain immediately after college, the "we're looking into suing the company that gave me the tainted supplements" claim that has seemingly vanished into the wind, etc. etc. etc., and conclude that maybe it was an honest mistake... of forgetting to take his Propecia to mask the nandrolone in his system.
