Yes, Brady was unbeleivable in that one AFC championship game agaisnt the Steelers when the Patriots scored 24 points - one touchdown led by Bledsoe and two special teams touchdowns.....

Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the league and I am becoming convinced there isn't a close second. The shit he does in reading defenses before the snap and exploiting every mismatch and matchup is scary.

There are a lot of smart quarterbacks, Brady being one of them, but he is a smart quaterback who is also 6-foot-5 with a rocket and unbelievable arm.

Not winning the Super Bowl and "flaming out" are two completely different things.

The Colts won't win the Super Bowl but not because Manning "flames out" but for the reasons they always do - a more physical team will run the ball down their throats and beat the fuck out of their offensive line like the Chargers have done for two years - especially with no Bob Sanders and no Marlin Jackson.

I just said the Colts won't win the Super Bowl and laid out the reasons why.

It is not a coincidence that the one year the Colts won it - they had a healthy Bob Sanders for the entire postseason and they had a physical rushing attack to go with Manning.

They do now have Donald Brown, but he isn't used enough and it will hurt the Colts come the playoffs.

A good quarterback is enough to be a difference maker and win regular season games and maybe a playoff game here or there - but you don't win big in the playoffs unless you can run the football with some degree of consistency and stop the run with consistency and the Colts can't usually do either.
