Boston Globe's Gordon Edes to Yahoo!

    Good for Gordon and Yahoo! I understand he was among a handful of premium candidates for the East Coast job. Yahoo! a solid baseball section with Brown, Passan and Edes.

    Latest money maker for papers: Renting office space. There's so much available in news rooms these days.

    Globe has lost/is losing four pretty good ones, counting those three and Reid (cross-threading, he's the new SE in St.L.)

    Holy shit. That's a HUGE loss for the Globe. (And no, I don't know Gordon nor am I Gordon). The Red Sox coverage in the Globe has been damn good since the days of Gammons.
