Given Yahoo's somewhat clouded future, this may not end well.

Gordon's never been afraid to make a move. I admire his confidence.

He gave me the best advice anyone has given me in the biz...

You have to leave at least one place to make money.

not that it would end well for him at the Globe.

  7. Or, perhaps they know something about their future you don't, if they're still making big hires.

He tried this once before, went to Fox Sports, then came back to the Globe after they made cuts. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Round 2.

Yahoo's a lot more stable than FoxSports.com. I bet you this time it's for real.

I'm guessing you are right. It'll be very, very interesting to see how the Globe fills this one.

Probably stay in house and give Cafardo and Amalie more, and probably a couple of correspondents here and there.
