I cannot believe he would quit in mid season.

    I hope it's not health.

If it's not, somebody needs to be shot.

    It's up now.

  4. It has to be health related. I can't imagine him quitting midseason for any other reason.

NewsChannel 11 said that Coach Knight told Athletic Director Gerald Myers that he was ready to quit and tired of coaching.

Stay tuned to NBC5i.com and NBC 5 for more information on this late-

  7. AP has a seven-inch story, which gives no reason for the resignation.

Does Texas Tech have a game tonight or a practice? If not, it will be tough to get a comment on this. I just don't see Coach Knight talking on his front porch about this.

Undoubtedly many more details have yet to come out, but if that does turn out to be the whole story, it's a hearty "fuck you" to this year's TT team, and a hearty "ha ha" to all the people BK has been preaching about dedication, perserverance, and commitment for all these 40 years.

When the going gets tough, the tough go fishing??

My bet still is it's health-related. Gotta be.

You are talking about the same Bobby Knight who coaches at Texas Tech? That guy does whatever and whenever he wants and he looked like a man who was just about done the other day when Tech played Okie State.

Coach Knight, as a coach, I hold in a very high standard. I respect his passion as a person as well.

If he just up and quit just because he is tired of coaching...

    fuck

Way to piss away everything you worked for.
