    Very classy, short two-line sendoff.

    I always thought Bob would be one of those guys who would be working until death. Isn't he still supposed to do some shows part-time?

    By not accepting any of the prizes... how else do you think they can afford to "give away" so many new cars?

    Did any of that Murderer's Row of Barker's Beauties show up? Always had a thing for Janice.

    Someone posted an excellent article from the Washington Post, I believe, on the cult of Bob Barker. Some of it due to his appearance in Happy Gilmore and some of it due since he was a fixture on TV for so long.
    If you're 40 or younger you probably can't a remember a time Barker wasn't on The Price is Right.
    And kudos to Adam Sandler making an appearance on the prime-time special a few weeks back. He read a poem.

    Yes. She declined to comment on the show for a retrospective on the show in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly.
