    He was stupid for saying it, because it could impact his severance.

    There's part of me that says, "He just got fired, he's pissed and he's ranting."

    At the time of his firing by Nebraska, Pelini was due a $7.9 million buyout. There is no non-disparagement clause in that contract that would affect his severance.

    If he loses $7.9 million for calling the AD a pussycat... That would be delightful.

    The problem with Pelini is that he's always pissed and he's always ranting. Is there a more miserable human being, or at least one who always looks like he's miserable. Chin enhancement surgery might help.

    I dealt with him a bit before he was a HC and he wasn't bad to deal with, granted, this was with a pretty media friendly team.

    He does seem colossally miserable now.
