Gotta love Kansas. Mild temperatures most of the winter, including a day of 84 about three weeks ago.

Now they're saying a foot of snow with up to 20 inches in western Kansas.

    Good luck SportsJournalists.com/Kansas

It's supposed to stretch down to the panhandle of Texas as well. Shit, it's 82 out right now, but windy as hell.

We have a slight chance at snow this far south, but I could do without.

This is some strange weather as of late. When tornado season should be in full swing in these areas (minus South Dakota), these places are getting blizzards. Wtf?

Does a thread where people's lives are in danger have to turn into a politcal shit fest?

    Fuck.

Anyhoo, this is Kansas for you. Next week there could be a tornado.

When bad people die, their souls go to Goodland, Kansas.

This is nothing new. We had to postpone prom when I was in high school in central Kansas about 12 years ago and a blizzard hit.

See, this is the kind of weather I don't like.

And my assignments manager told me a couple of weeks ago that I have a 50/50 chance of ending up in the middle of Kansas for my next duty station.

Which is reason enough to go AWOL and join the Coast Guard.
