    Boston's hardly the only town with this long-held reputation, but among the major Northeastern cities?
    The leader in the clubhouse.

    True. Boston is celebrated for being such a sports city, but when it comes to race there is nothing to celebrate.

    Austria.

    But he left there when he was 13 and settled in Chicago.

    Spent some time there and that pretty much explains it.

    The only other country where I met more racists was Switzerland

    You're probably thinking of Kurt Waldheim, but a relatively recent (candidate?) for president also had Nazi ties.

    Check out any local Yankee telecast, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything but white faces in those shots of adorable kids in the crowd. And, it's been that way for years.
