First person got there 3 a.m. Thursday morning. I've decided next year I'm doing a full 24 hours. Just to see if I can. :)

Has anyone heard of someone being robbed standing in line at a Black Friday event? I mean those people have to have money because they wouldn't be standing in line. It would be a robber's dream.

You hear about it all the time but I don't bring cash so it's not as issue. Usually, I go to Best Buy and just bring my Rewards Zone card and my ID. I have the cashier look up my credit card number when I get to the register so if someone robbed me, they won't get crap.

As an aside though, there's this Mexican family that comes to the Best Buy I go to ever year. They buy all the laptops they can get and all the big ticket items and sell them on craigslist. I asked them this year how much they bring each year and they said $16 grand.

    Cash.

They don't bring the money until about a half hour before the store opens but still. Jesus.
