Been named the first coach at Georgia State, which starts in 2010.

There are fewer nicer people in college football than Bill Curry. As a coach, eh, but Georgia State has to start somewhere I guess.

Anything to get in the news, is that what you're saying, TBF?

Bingo. I hate Kentucky football, but it was hard to hate it with Curry there. Good kids for the most part, and a really good man who honestly cared.

Until his ass was getting ready to get canned and used all his players he was going to redshirt. Hello Jimmy Haley. Plus, he tried to get Tim Couch to run the option.

He may not have gotten a fair shake at UK, but he never really earned one either. He was definitely no Jerry Claiborne.

Bad coach, bad announcer, good man for the most part.

Naw. There was a rumor that while he was at Alabama, an angry fan tossed a brick through his office window. I was a little young to remember it well, but the story's certainly out there.

He did get death threats at UK. A brick would be a welcomed change of pace for him.

Jeez, I'd forgotten about that. He'll only get that in Atlanta if he buys a house near campus.

There are no houses near that campus. Hell, there's no campus near that campus.
