It's not for me to speak to the issue of whether his death brings peace to him or anyone else.

Within the very narrow context of the dealings I had with Bill, I am sad to hear of his passing. He was very kind to me in a moment when he did not have to be, that's all I can tell you.

I believe I can feel that way without it being an endorsement of anything he did outside the very narrow context of the dealings I had with him. If you want to tell me to fuck myself over that, you're not the first nor will you be the last.

He resigned just before the shit hit the fan, if I recall correctly.

 

Well, if Law & Order: SVU has taught me one thing, it's that predators don't stop on their own. They are most often stopped by someone else. I am not in any way doubting the victims from the 1970s but I am surprised a lot more later victims didn't come forward.
