You're wrong about this part, too.

Woodley said it was nothing and that he expected to play, but what do you expect him to say. Some NFL.com guy reported during the game that it was a cramp, but Ed Bouchette has been reporting all along that Woodley is likely to miss the game against the Ravens. Bouchette is very rarely wrong about what is going on with the Steelers.

We get it already. You hate the Steelers and all who root for them. Too fucking bad. Steelers-Ravens is the best game of the week. Two of the top teams in the AFC playing in a game that will most likely decide the division championship. It is one of the NFL's best rivalries. It is a game that deserves to be talked about on a Week 9 thread.

The injuries at linebacker are going to be a huge factor in that game. That makes it worthy of discussion. The Steelers have gotten by just fine without Harrison mostly because Woodley has been dominant. They will have one starter playing, and he will be out of position.

I would have much rather been wrong about this one, but it looks like Woodley is out for this week, most likely for the game against the Bengals the following week as well. I figured them to be a good bet to at least split those two games. Now, I'm not so sure.

Roethlisberger is not going to be able to play keep-away against the Ravens as easily as he did against the Patriots.

Well, maybe they will have more than one linebacker playing in position. Harrison is now listed as probable, as of this afternoon. I don't think they have a designation for "pissed off" at the Ravens who were responsible for his broken face. And I heard something on espn radio Pittsburgh that Heloti Nata isn't a given to play, which may even out the injury problem the Steelers face. If Natta isn't able to plug up the middle, The Steelers may just gameplan to make Lewis play the entire game from hash to hash, chasing down quick slants and backs out of the backfield . . . something he isn't really capable of doing all game long anymore.

Ngata missing the game would be huge. The guy just eats the Steelers up every time.

I'd much rather have Woodley than Harrison, but getting even one of them back is a big break. Worilds could help, too. He has shown some ability to rush the passer in limited playing time.

The other downside from the story you linked is Emmanuel Sanders missing the game, but they have plenty of depth at wide receiver Ward coming back and Cotchery there as a solid No. 4.

Harrison seems to always find a reason to be pissed off, but the Ravens were not responsible for his injury. He was hurt in the game against the Texans.

Yea, I'd rather have Woodley too, but this will keep Keisel from playing outside linebacker and move him back to his tradional spot. That scared me a bit. He's a beast, but I just don't see him with the quickness for outside linebacker. And if Woirlds is finally healthy, at the very least we have enough bodies to spell Harrison from time to time. The defense will need to generate a pass rush, something they didn't do week 1, if they want a shot at this one.

Last I saw, if they are both able to play, Worilds would start on the left side in place of Woodley rather than back up Harrison on the right side. Carter goes back to the bench and Timmons moves back inside.,

Anyone think Harrison and Woodley will really play or is this just a ploy? Harrison might be legit... I'll be shocked if Woodley plays.
