    I'm not sure I understand the criticism. There is no "cause" here.

    The collection, dissection, and distribution of "Big Data" is a seas change in how the world works.

    I'm fascinated by the modern world we live in. If you're not paying attention to this, you're missing something big. And, if you can figure out how to harness/exploit it, you can make a lot of money.

    Just not a fan of people making statements about others when they in fact have no idea if their statement is true or, really, anything about the other person in question.

    That does not only apply here, of course, this was just an obvious one that I happened to come across at a moment when it bothered me. It happens from time to time.
