The gun and the shooting lessons prove it was planned. At the very least, she gave herself a means to finish the guy off if she ever snapped.

Then again, people are spending much less time in jail for murders. They'll probably make her an example though.

She derseves to stay locked up -- if not for the husband's murder for the new wife's.

BTW, it was a great L&O.

I think his "logic" is that she's no longer a threat to kill the two people she's already killed ... which could be said for every killer.

Absolutely. And they've used the actress that played her role in a few SVU episodes, too.

    for real? you're serious?

once you kill 2 people (and not in self defense, nof'nwhere near self defense) you are a threat because you've shown you can kill.

She's not going anywhere until she takes responsibility for what she did, and from the sound of it, that's not happening. I think that's what drove her to commit this crime. She couldn't accept that her bitchy personality drove hubby away in the first place.

    Come on, now.

The only proper theme for epic fail is this:

    Wow ... a 15-year denial.

Can't get much worse than that. Apparently after all this time, she still doesn't get it.

When two of her four kids think she still should be behind bars, what does that say?

I was joking, by the way, about her not being a threat as long as no one is fool enough to marry her.

But there is quite a difference between a cold-blooded killer, who might shoot gas station clerks to rob them of $60 and someone who finds kills a cheating spouse in the heat of the moment.

And I would like to see the studies that someone who killls WILL kill again.

Is that like having to put down a dog or tiger or alligator or whatever once they have the taste of human flesh?
